A Day at The Farm

Good friends of ours have a farm and lots of animals. They have 3 baby horses, 2 orphan cows and 9 baby lambs. They have other herds of animals out in the field that have babies but all of these babies are at their house. Kimmie and Travis are wonderful people and we are lucky to have them as friends.
So, the day started out at their land where they have many horses and cows and babies. Kimmie was feeding and watering them. We made our way to their house for some hands on work. We started out looking at the baby horses...which wanted to make me cry they were so dang cute. There are 2 girls and 1 boy. Kimmie tried to get one baby horse to come and see us and man was she ever fiesty. She would pull on the rope so hard she would start to pass out and she would kick her front legs like crazy. She finally laid down and Kimmie was able to pet her. We never go the chance but we will when the babies are ready.

Victoria and Charlee (Kimmie's little girl) fed the two baby cows milk bottles. Jack was a wild eater and was foaming of the mouth and then tried to eat Elizabeth's boot and she was mad. Wall-E just laid down and drank his bottle...so relaxed. While Kimmie, Elizabeth and I were talking and petting the cows, Victoria and Charlee went into the field where the lambs, sheep, goats and llama where. Next thing I hear is Victoria chasing the lambs and sheep telling them she was going to get them. I died laughing.

Victoria and Charlee rode on Harley the Pony but Elizabeth wanted nothing to do with him. The girls played in the club house and sand box.

We sat down to have dinner, which was delicious.
It was just so fun and great to be with a great friend. Victoria woke up the next morning asking if we were going to Charlee's again. I am glad that she has such a great friend and they are great together.
